V.A. - Music of Czechoslovakia (1970)

This beautiful album was field recorded by "James McNeish", between 1960 and 1966 using a portable Nagra II. Its fascinating listen to it at the same time you see the back cover of the vinyl (also included in the zip file).
Here we have a song played by Straznice village band (all of them semi-professional musicians), a Folk style song sung by a peasant woman, a children's song by "Irena Buckova" (a school teacher), also old pub's songs, wedding songs and many more delights.
All of them recorded live in taverns, streets, countryside and different locations.
Very very entertaining album released by "Argo Records"
