Toto Bissainthe - Chante Haiti (1977)

"Toto Bissainthe" died in 1994. She was the voice of Haiti in exile in France, where she created the first African theater company. The songs were always inspired by the music and the misery of their land, (as we know the situation of Haiti is a disaster since long time ago).
Beautiful album, full of deep feelings within the music, the song "Papaloko" is a good example of that. I love also the percussion and the backing vocals in the whole record, really inspiring".
Truly highly recommended for its emotional charge.

  1. Thank you for all the interesting music. Is it possible to take a second Hoster, because mega causes problems in Germany.
